About Me

Mingjun Zhong is a Lecturer in Machine Learning/Data Science in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Aberdeen. He was a Senior Lecturer in Machine Learning in the School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln. His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science, Computational Statistics, and their applications. He is passionate about understanding patterns and phenomena in real-world data by devising statistical machine learning and AI methodologies. Dr Zhong has made significant contributions to the field of computational sustainability, which involves inferring and understanding how energy is used in households. He is an Associate Editor of the journal Neural Processing Letters.
