Laurie Reid

Laurie Reid worked as a Project Manager and administrator at Queen’s University Belfast since 2005 and recently joined the SUSTAIN Administration team. She brings a wealth of experience in research project coordination and administrative support, ensuring that operational demands are met efficiently, allowing academic and research staff to focus on core scientific and strategic objectives.

Prior to joining SUSTAIN, Laurie has worked with the same Principal Investigator in the School of Biological Sciences for 20 years, playing a central role in the delivery of numerous research projects. Her portfolio includes projects funded by Horizon 2020, BBSRC, and Invest NI, among others—each involving international collaboration, complex scheduling, and the concurrent management of multiple research outputs. Her longstanding experience demonstrates not only her exceptional organisational and communication skills but also her ability to navigate and manage the evolving demands of multi-stakeholder environments.
